YORK OFFERS NEW, CUSTOMIZABLE “DIGITAL LITERATURE” TO DEALERS
by Anonymous
(Norman OK.) – The Unitary Products Group (UPG) of York International Corporation has initiated a dealer-controlled, customizable “digital literature” program for its top “Liberties” dealers.
The program, called Build-A-BrochureTM, was developed by JGSullivan Interactive (JGSI), and provides York UPG with a fast, cost-saving alternative to traditional print material. “York dealers now have the ability to electronically create a broad range of customized sales pieces which can be downloaded, printed locally or e-mailed to a customer,” according to John Sullivan, President, JGSI.
York teamed up with JGSI to become the first company in the HVAC industry to bring this unique capability to over 4,000 Liberties dealers.
"This is a significant step in our efforts to provide effective marketing tools for our dealer group," according to Matt Peterson, York UPG Vice-President of Sales and Marketing. "Build-A-Brochure will ensure the YORK UPG brand message is consistently communicated, and its product information is always current and accurate, while enabling the dealer to customize the message to suit his needs. Our dealers tend to be smaller, private business owners who are selling their company to the consumer as well as York products. Build-A-Brochure helps integrate the York brand image with the local dealers’ own unique marketing message. It’s the best of both worlds”
"We're very pleased to offer this service to our dealers and distributors," added Andy Fracica, York Brand Marketing Manager. "This program gives our dealers a more professional print look and allows them to easily put their company’s image and their unique business message into print at no cost when used electronically or very low cost with local printing options."
According to Kenny Henry, Director of UPG Information Technologies, "This type of performance is impossible to accomplish in traditional print brochure production."
JGSI's custom program for YORK UPG features built-in marketing, sales, and warranty pages, a selection of cover photos and new product updates. In addition, dealers have the opportunity to add their own logos, photographs and custom text to completely personalize brochures to their local marketing needs.
